It’s probably not news to you that some of the best creative works in history were achieved with the help of a whisky or two. Picasso, Van Gough, Pollock – all famous for their love of booze as much as their works of art.
On Wednesday nights at Southend, we invite you to unleash your inner Da Vinci and get busy with wine and art. Starting in Term 1, our good friend Rosemary Strachan will be hosting a drawing class in Crib (our function space). We’ve aligned the schedule with the school term for those of you with school-age kids who live and breathe this way, but this one is for the grown ups. Get all the after-school chaos out of the way and then ditch the kids & come and enjoy some quality ME-time.
Bring your own graphite and watercolour pencils (or borrow ours), and join us for a fun, social and relaxing evening of drawing.
No experience necessary.
The cost is $30 per session if you sign up for the full term ($270 for Term 1), or $45 for drop-ins. There is a one-off charge of $10 for an A4 Visual Art Diary if you need one, but of course you are free to BYO.
Each session comes with a free glass of wine & some nibbles.
To book for the whole term, drop in to see our friendly bar staff or give us a call on 9661 9682.
