Our back function room is a family-friendly space, but it's still part of our licensed premise. That means all kids must remain in the company of a responsible parent, please. You can hire this whole room for $1000, for a 3 hour block: 10am to 1pm, 2pm to 5pm or 6pm to 9pm (though you're welcome to stay until midnight). The price includes $800 worth of drinks, and staff to serve from our East Wing bar. If you'd prefer not to have your own private bar, it becomes a $1,000 bar tab (which works out at around 2.5 drinks each for a party of 30). If you are expecting your guests to pay their own way, we can open an offset account; when your party reaches the $1,000 spend, we refund your deposit. All the furniture is mobile, so we can set it up exactly the way you want it. Crib comfortably holds 60 people under normal, non-restricted conditions.
A quick word about kids parties: We love kids, and kids love it here.. but at the end of the day, we are still a pub. Our sole purpose for existing is the sale of alcohol. If drinking isn't really your thing, then we highly recommend one of the many fabulous community centres in Randwick, such as Burnie Park.

For an informal party of up to 30 people. Chairs can be arranged around a larger area covering 3 separate tables and two long benches, so you can 'mingle' amongst the close contacts of your group whilst staying seated as per the public health order. Best seats in the house to watch our live music. Plus: we'll cordon off your space with a red velvet rope for that VIP feel.
We are happy for you to bring cake, chips and lollies – but no other food, please. If our function menu doesn’t float your boat, talk to our chef about your needs. He is usually happy to accommodate.
Party decorations are fine if they are free standing. No blue-tack or sticky tape or other adhesives please. No sparklers, and definitely NO confetti balloons – under any circumstances. Seriously. Have you ever tried to vacuum that stuff up when the balloons burst? Literally impossible.
All catering and room hire must be paid for 48 hours in advance, and at that stage is non-refundable. We are happy to accept cancellations or reschedules at any time prior to this.
