Guinness 30-Day Challenge Terms & Conditions

1. Start Date
   The first challenge starts on 1^st October and finishes when the first team logs 30 days of Guinness.
2. Team Registration
   Teams may consist of up to 4 people. All team members must be registered before participating in the challenge.
3. Only 20 Teams In Each Round
   Each challenge is limited to 20 teams only. If you miss out on this round, you can join the next one.
4. One Team Only
   Each participant may only be registered as a member of one team for the duration of the challenge.
5. How to Log a Visit
   To record a visit, a registered team member must purchase and consume at least one pint of Guinness at Southend and have their visit marked off by staff. Only one team member can do this each day, so whether he/she is here on their own for a lonely pint, or the whole team is committing to a session – only one visit will be logged for the day.
6. Photo ID Required
   Participants must present valid photo ID when checking in to have their visit recorded. No ID, no mark-off.
7. The Challenge
   The aim is to be the first team to reach 30 recorded visits.
8. One Visit Per Team Per Day
   Each registered team may contribute a maximum of one recorded visit per day. 
9. The Winner
   The first team to officially reach 30 recorded visits wins the Guinness Fitness Challenge and gets to join our exclusive Guinness Fitness Club. The exact time of each final qualifying visit will be recorded. In the event that multiple teams complete the challenge on the same day, the team that reaches 30 visits first will be declared the winner. There may be only minutes—or less—between first and second place, so getting there first matters!
10. The Prize
    A limited edition O’Neills team jerseys for every member of your team.
11. Bonus Prize – $12 pints until December 2027.
    Any time you wear your spiffy new jerseys to the pub between now and the end of 2027, we will re-price your Guinness pints to $12.
12. No Retrospective Claims
    Visits cannot be added, backdated or claimed after the fact. It is each participant’s responsibility to ensure their visit has been correctly recorded at the time of their visit.
13. Fair Play
    Any attempt to manipulate, falsify or misuse the challenge registration or visit-recording process may result in disqualification of the individual or entire team.
14. Responsible Service of Alcohol
    All participants must comply with venue rules and responsible service of alcohol requirements. Staff reserve the right to refuse service at any time.
15. Final Decision
    The venue’s decision on all matters relating to the Guinness Fitness Challenge, including visit records, eligibility and the winning team, is final.

Drink responsibly. This is a fitness challenge of sorts, but Guinness is not a substitute for actual exercise.
