Win A Trip Home 

…or anywhere you want to go with a $5,000 Flight Center Voucher.

Southend has teamed up with the good folks at Guinness to give you a chance to win a trip home (or anywhere, really) by telling us why you deserve to be drinking a pint of Guinness in Ireland, in 30 seconds or less.

Ask our friendly bar staff to film your submission, or make your own and DM the videos to our insta account @southendmaroubra

Any submissions that makes it on to our socials will be in with a chance to win a $5000 Flight Centre voucher, so make sure you check our socials regularly to see if you made the cut. 

The finalist videos will all be shown at Southend on Friday June 19th from 6:30pm onwards, and the winner announced (loudest cheer takes it home so bring all your friends to cheer you on). The winner must be present to win, with five minutes grace to get to the bar before we pass the prize to the runner-up. Southend staff will record all decibel readings, and will facilitate a tie-breaker in the event of a draw. Judges decision is final, and argumentative/ anti-social behaviour will result in disqualification. 

The fine print: 

(1) You must be over 18 to enter. (2) There is a limit of one entry per day. (3) You must be holding a Guinness or must mention Guinness for your submission to be valid (4) All submissions must start with you stating your name, which will be cropped out before we post it online. (5) We reserve the right to use your submission for future promotion of Southend. (6) The promotion starts on Friday 29th April, 2026 and finishes on Wednesday 17th June, with winner decided and announced on Friday 19th June, 2026. (7) Judges decision is final.
